Is A&E the right place?

Call 999 for chest pain, signs of a stroke, severe bleeding, difficulty breathing, or someone who is unconscious. An ambulance will take you to the right hospital.

For sprains, small cuts or minor burns, an urgent treatment centre is often quicker. If you’re not sure, call 111.
